For information about software applications installed on computers provided to Smith faculty and staff, see Smith-Assigned Computers.
As an active Smith student, the following applications are available to you through your Smith account. Use the links below to go directly to an application and log in using your Smith email address.
Computers in the Smith Libraries have a standard set of software applications available for academic work by Smith students, faculty, and staff, and students enrolled in classes at Smith. Computers in specialized areas have additional software available. Note: The Libraries follow the college’s Acceptable Use Policy.
Many computers in laboratories across campus have the same standard set of software applications and may have additional software to support the primary purpose of the lab. For details, check with your professor or the department responsible for the lab space. Your courses may also utilize other software applications in addition to what's available in these spaces.
ITS updates academic software between semesters, except in cases where there is an urgent security matter to address.
