Do you have an administrative task, data puzzle, or manual workflow that eats up too much time? Join ITS and the AI Operational Working Group for a workshop. We’ll brainstorm how existing campus AI tools could help with potential team projects or streamline departmental tasks. Each session is an opportunity to get feedback and ideas from others on how you might use AI tools at Smith and further explore the potential viability of using AI within your department/team.
Sessions are limited to ensure focused, productive conversations. We'll choose a topic theme for each session.

Join ITS for a workshop on how to create a custom Gemini Gem, an AI assistant tailored to individual work and communication styles. Attendees will learn how to build a Gem, collaborate with Gemini to customize it, and leave with a functional Gem of their own. This workshop immediately follows the Introduction to Generative AI training sessions, and participants may attend one or both events.

LinkedIn Learning offers hundreds of videos and courses related to AI. All of these are available to the Smith community for free by signing in to Smith's instance.

LinkedIn Learning offers over 100 other AI-related learning paths. They have also organized hundreds of AI resources into categories based on level of experience and use of AI tools. This is referred to as the Artificial Intelligence Upskilling Framework. It has 5 levels: Understanding, Applying, Building, Training and Maintaining Models, and Deeply Specializing.
