Departments historically used Smith’s network drives to store their work. Many departments have a shared drive (S:), sometimes referred to as an S drive, and some employees still have a Home (H:) drive. While Smith ITS currently maintains existing drives, we strongly recommend using Google Drive for secure cloud storage that is regularly backed up and migrating existing work from Network drives to Google Drive.

In the Server Address field, enter: smb://ad.smith.edu/files/shared

Your department Share (S:) drive should be under Network Locations.
