Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package developed by StataCorp for data manipulation, visualization, statistics, and automated reporting.

Installing

1. Download the installation file for your computer's operating system.

   • Mac version: Stata for MacOS

   • Windows version: Stata for Windows

2. Use the licensing information in this document: Stata 18 licensing information 2024-25. Note that only users with active Smith accounts will be able to access this information.
