The issue has been resolved and Smith community members can now log into the affected courses. Users may need to clear their browser cache.
11/13, 9:08 a.m. Investigating: Moodle Courses Unavailable - The Moodle Service team is aware that some courses are unavailable and users are seeing an 'Invalid course module ID' error. We are working with our vendor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

11/12, 8:54 a.m. Update: A workaround is to use the Log in link in the upper right corner of https://moodle.smith.edu/ . Users are able to successfully log in using this option.
11/12, 8:36 a.m. Investigating: Some users are experiencing issues when logging in to Moodle. ITS is working with our vendor to correct the problem. We will provide updates here as more information becomes available.

10/30/25, 9:00 a.m. - We are receiving reports that community members who have already completed the annual Cybersecurity training in Workday are receiving notices that they have not completed the training and to take the course again. The course may also appear as Not Started even though you have completed it. ITS is actively investigating and working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We will post updates here as they are available. Note: If you have completed the 2025 training, you do not need to take the course again.

Network issues have been resolved and service is restored in Bass, McConnell, Burton, Ford, and Sabin-Reed.

We have received reports of networking issues in some science buildings (Bass, McConnell, Burton, Ford, and Sabin-Reed, possibly others). ITS is actively investigating and will work to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We will post updates here as they are available.

We have received reports from multiple community members experiencing issues with Moodle files and activities, including missing file errors, upload errors, grading errors, etc. ITS has opened a high-priority ticket with Moodle, and they are investigating.
Though Moodle is still accessible, we recommend waiting to work on course changes until the issue is resolved. We will post updates here when they are available. We appreciate your patience.

Google has resolved the issue, and affected users should no longer experience problems with Google apps. They are still working to address the root cause.
